From The Blue Ridge Parkway
Exit the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost marker 376 – this marks Bull Gap. Go .2 mile, then turn left onto Elk Mountain Scenic Highway. Continue on Elk Mountain Scenic Highway for 1 mile. Entrance to Chimney Laurel will be on the right. From Asheville Take I-240 to Merrimon Avenue. Head north on Merrimon Avenue for 2.1 miles. Turn right onto Beaverdam Road. Continue on Beaverdam Road for .6 mile, then turn left on Elk Mountain Scenic Highway. Stay on Elk Mountain Scenic Highway for 6.2 miles. The sign and entrance to Chimney Laurel will be on the left.
